I’ve talked a lot this week about being blessed. I feel very fortunate to be in the position that I’m in. Each passing day brings someone new and unique into my life. Everyday I have the honor and privilege of helping people plan for there financial security. I’ve met some incredible people, and at this point it’s been amazing knowing that I’m making a difference.
Life comes at us so fast, it’s often difficult to step back and take stock of what you’re doing. I’ve improved those skills, but it’s come with a lot of time and deliberate effort.
Pause everything for a second, including reading on. Take stock of what you have, what you’ve done, and where your heading. Are you watching too much tv? Wasting time? Not planning? There are a lot of things that we have no control over, and unfortunately those are the things we let control us.
What’s the solution? Take charge of the things that you can control. Do it, and do it now.
Before you know it, you’ll be reading the 2020 edition of Writing on Life. Are you going to look back on 2019 and smile? Are you going to know that you went out and truly lived life?
I think so, but what I think doesn’t matter much, just ask my kids.
What matters is that you think that you are destined for great things during the months ahead. Focus on it, and be passionate. Never let yourself drift off into the crowd. Live with energy, and go out and make a difference.
Enjoy the weekend, and do have a blessed week. Cheers!
